Best Marketing on a Small Budget - 16/02/2009


Ceuta Healthcare trumped last year’s SMaRT Best Marketing on a Small Budget award win by picking up first and second prizes in the same category at this year’s ceremony.

 

Dextro Energy was awarded first prize for its “Life’s Hard – Cheat” campaign that ran in parallel with the Beijing Olympics. Ceuta developed an easily-understandable brand promise and created a range of 5 adverts that communicated a highly-branded and differentiated position from mega-brand energy providers such as Red Bull and Lucozade. 
 

In the same category, Nitty Gritty was the only other brand to be Highly Commended by the panel of judges. In this case, the marketing programme was based on great confidence in product quality. A targeted sampling campaign enabled mothers to gain first-hand experience of how effective Nitty Gritty’s patented Nit-Free comb is against head lice.
